Louis began racing as a teenager driving a 1969 Chevy Nova SS street-legal drag car that he built himself. Armed with lightning reflexes and smooth shifting ability, Louis was successful in drag racing on and off the track. After several years though, he needed something more challenging than the foot-to-the-floor routine of drag racing. Formula racing was the perfect answer.

So he sold his beloved drag car and used the proceeds to obtain his Formula racing license. Louis enrolled in the full course at the world-renowned Skip Barber Racing School and immediately impressed his instructors by driving much faster than the rest of his classmates. What else would you expect from a former drag racer?

After graduating racing school with flying colors, Louis saved all the money from his second job as an overnight garage attendant (sleeping only two hours every night in a chair!) and used it to enter his first few races. He did well enough to warrant the pursuit of a racing career and since then, Louis or "Topspeed" as he’s known to friends and fans, has been competing primarily in Formula Dodge.

His results have been and continue to be impressive. He is a multiple race winner and he regularly finishes on the podium against more experienced drivers, often without the benefit of practice sessions that his competitors take part in. Amazing results indeed!

Topspeed is also a successful kart racer with hundreds of karting wins to his credit. He still competes in sprint and endurance karting to maintain his skills, reflexes, and physical conditioning. His other racing experience includes Formula Ford, Formula 2000 and Stock cars.

Topspeed's ultimate goal is to win the INDY 500 but currently, he is searching for additional sponsors to help him compete on a championship level in the Indy Lights and/or Star Mazda Pro Series. These televised, national racing championships offer tremendous exposure and ROI for sponsors while showcasing the talent of tomorrow's future racing stars.
